MCT Trails Closures and Construction
MCT Goshen Trail
A contractor will be working along the MCT Goshen Trail approximately ½ mile south of Lemen Settlement Rd for grading and cleanup adjacent to the trail. For your safety, please use caution along this section of the Goshen trail until the work is completed.
MCT Nature Trail
Due to construction of the City of Edwardsville Route 66 bikeway, MCT Nature Trail will be closed at the IL-157 tunnel until further notice. For your safety, please avoid this section of the trail.
MCT Nickel Plate Trail
IDOT will be making repairs to the I-255 bridges over IL-162 starting November 4th, 2024 and will be crossing the Nickel Plate trail with equipment and vehicles occasionally. Please use caution while using this trail in this area until the work is complete.
MCT Nature Trail
IDOT will be doing repairs to the IL 111 bridge over the MCT Nature Trail starting September 3, 2024. The trail will need to be temporarily closed at times. For your safety, please avoid this section of trail.
MCT Nature Trail
The MCT Nature Trail will be closed at the Esic Drive crossing for reconstruction of the road. For your safety, please avoid this section of trail during the closure.
